Intel Refreshes its Iconic Brand Motto - Introduces: "That's the Power of Intel Inside "

Intel introduced its new brand to the world Tuesday at the Intel Vision 2025 event in Las Vegas. Leading with "That's the power of Intel Inside," Intel leans into the essential role the company—along with its partners and customers—plays in the world while giving a nod to the company's wildly popular "Intel Inside" campaign of the 1990s.

Brett Hannath, chief marketing officer for Intel, says the new brand platform anchors on the idea that "Intel ignites the greatness within"—in every employee, customer, consumer, community, partner. All the while, it allows Intel to reflect on its proud heritage. (The Intel Inside co-marketing campaign launched in 1991 helped Intel become a household name around the globe over the next decade.) More than a marketing initiative, "That's the power of Intel Inside" is an avenue for amplifying Intel's importance in today's world. Intel's leaders plan to leverage the new brand platform to drive differentiation, revenue growth, and equity with customers and partners.

Intel underpins everyday life. We build technology that helps us all connect, create, and achieve great things—together.

This defines how out of touch these bureaucrats are in their glass offices. Intel has no longer the dominant status that allows for them to simply tell customers "Buy it, it's intel".

Yes those intel stickers told me instantly to be patient. Grab a coffee - turn the notebook on and do something else. Check in the next 30 minutes and hope the device finished booting. Check back after an hour to see if there are any windows 10 updates available.

I hope we will get in the near future ATX - changeable components mainboards with risc-V and coreboot or libreboot.

This reminds me of when Hillary said "the problem with Monsanto is marketing." Everybody knows...when you have major problems to solve, you can just do more marketing and they'll go away.

That OG design was spot on. I hate the fact they changed this logo. Like, okay, you can market all you please but W-H-Y? Why changing the perfect design? Makes me lose my dinner every time I look at these abominations they fashioned after 2006.

This honestly made me smile a bit at how silly (if not downright pathetic) it is. Did Intel hire someone from AMD’s marketing team?

Seems like instead of doing something new they're just saying, "Hey we used to be good, don't forget about how we milked you and stifled innovation for profits for 10 years!"

Yeah that was awkward. Not sure who they're trying to convince.

Did Intel forget to complete the press release, or is it still processing on their desktop?

Fixed, thanks for the pointer. Intel's PR material was surprisingly brief...I was expecting some extra written material to place below their YouTube vid!

Nah, it just came 2-3 days late, instead of 1st April (at least I prefer to hope so).

People got sick of the "Intel Inside" bullshit because it told them nothing other than a brand name.

I looked at the poll after voting "Yes" and was surprised by the disparity of the vote. And people call ME negative? I'm genuinely shocked! This is a good thing. I like it!

Personally, I like the 2011-2013 badge the best. But this new one is clean and sharp.

So... from a catchy two words they went to a sentence.

And this is somehow... more catchy? What?

This smells like your average Microsoft campaign where they are once again trying to be cool again, which they never were, because in the back of your mind there is always the image of Harry Pott...I mean Bill Gates / Pat Gelsinger / *insert other talking head*. Its a bit like dad trying to be cool again even though he's passing into 60. Just don't. Nobody wants to see that, we're only worried we have to go to the hospital for a broken leg soon or something.

Also... the ideal corporate video again... a lot of stock imagery of very smart people doing very random things being very satisfied doing it. I'm almost out of puke buckets! My god...
