Introduction

MCHOSE Logo

Founded in 2018, MCHOSE is a gaming peripherals company based in China. In many ways, the L7 Pro resembles the SCYROX V8. The shape is comparable, being a variant of the Pulsar X2H, with the hump located towards the back. At 40 g, the L7 Pro also weighs the same, albeit while being slightly smaller. Much like on the V8, Omron D2FP-FN2 optical switches rated for 70 million clicks are used for the main buttons, and the sensor is either PixArt's PAW3395 capable of 26,000 CPI (L7 Pro) or PAW3950 capable of 42,000 CPI (L7 Ultra). However, unlike the V8, the L7 Pro offers true 8000 Hz polling in both wired and wireless operation. MCHOSE does not specify battery life, though a 250 mAh battery is used, and aside from 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth connectivity is also present. The usual configuration options are found in software. The L7 Pro is available in white, black, or blue.

Weight

My scale shows around 40 g (+/- 1 g), which is almost exactly in line with the 39 g cited by MCHOSE. For comparison, the slightly larger and likewise solid-shell SCYROX V8 weighs 40 g, same as the similarly sized, solid-shell Hitscan Hyperlight. An excellent weight.
