Since all gpu's models perform the same, why review dozen of different models?

Since they perform the same and people say just get the cheapest. Wouldn't it be better idea to just review the FE cards and not waste time/money to review dozens of AIB cards?

Noise/heat is a non issue these days, just move the PC to the basement or attic, run fans at 100% 24/7. Or wear comfy headphones.
Ah, yes, the classic "just move the PC tower to the attic and run 50-foot USB and HDMI cables to plug in the monitor and peripherals" strategy.

Not only that... but... its completely possible to have a rig you don't really notice while gaming. Always having cans on... I never understood that. It annoys the F out of me after 10 whole minutes already. Even outside. No matter what headset it is.
back days I LOVED FANS NOISE. The LOUDER, THE BETTER (I thought=the COOLER lol).:D Now I'm "ok" with "medium" noise, lol

It’s not just about performance, reviewing different models we are able to find anomalies like missing rops on the high end 50 series that it leads to missing performance… just reviewing the fe model and we wouldn’t know

This I wouldn't mind tho. But how to work it out so that it doesn't end up being a worse solution, I'm not sure. I feel like it make the threads... noisier, to put it one way
Indeed.

Perhaps @W1zzard can manage some kind of merging of same model comment sections, while keeping an exposed tag on them based on what review was clicked on to get to said comment section. That way people can also see from each other what review/model prompted their response.

And even just a merge of those comments into a single topic when you arrive on the forum itself wouldn't be a bad thing. Its not like those topics each get swarmed with comments, more often than not there's a rare commentor on each of them, talking to himself

That sounds like bait but anyway:
It absolutely is an issue, majority of variants have bad coolers and are unacceptable for people with their hearing intact.

For example:
ModelIdleGamingMaxNoiseRPM
ASUS RTX 4060 Strix OC (Quiet BIOS)35°C59°C71°C24.4 dBA1088
Gigabyte RTX 4060 WindForce OC46°C78°C97°C45.4 dBA2965

To pretend like there is no difference between these and that the review wasn't needed is bonkers.
Not only do they not perform the same, but one is virtually silent and cool at the same time, while the other sounds like a jet engine and overheats.

Your "solutions" are not viable for most people and come with a lot of compromises and massively increased cost.

I'm glad they review so many models so we know which ones avoid. Shoutout to Mr. W1zzard

Perhaps some middle ground where the cooler performance is reviewed for different cards, but does that really necessitate another full review? Most of which will be all but identical for all makes and models of the given spec? I dunno, perhaps this is how the site generates revenue in which case far be it from me to say it's wrong, but from the end user perspective it seems overkill.
